I realize that there are risks associated with competing in this event. In your consideration of accepting my entry, I intend to be legally bound for myself, my heirs, executors, and administrators, and waiver and release any and all rights for claims for damage I may have against any persons, officials, private property owners, organization and/or sponsors of the Copper Canyon Run and Ultra Marathon and/or their representatives, successors, and assigned for any and all injuries suffered to me in this event even though liability may raise out of negligence or carelessness on the part of any person named in this waiver. Further, I grant full permission for any and all of the forgoing to use photographs, videotapes, motion pictures, and recordings of me for legitimate reason. Also, I understand that the race directors and/or officials, have the right to reject any entry and pull anyone from the race who is considered to be disrespectful and/or discourteous to the local environment, people, or other participants. I understand that this is a very challenging and potentially dangerous back-country trail run on un-marked trails and I hold myself to be in suitable mental and physical condition to undertake this demanding all-day event. I also recognize and accept the risks in this due to the lack of air-evacuation support.
